Privacy Policy

Mission 4 Mastery BV, trading as BACKBONE. Performance (“we”) respects your privacy and processes personal data in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This policy explains what data we collect, why, and what rights you have.

1. Data controller

2. What data we process

We only process the data you provide yourself or that is technically needed to run the website:

  • Contact form: name, email address, organization, the type of request and your message.
  • Email contact: the data you include in your message.
  • Technical data: anonymized or limited log data and cookies (see the Cookie Policy).

3. Purposes and legal basis

  • Answering your request and preparing a possible collaboration — based on your request and our legitimate interest.
  • Keeping the website secure and working — based on our legitimate interest.
  • Placing analytical cookies — only based on your consent.

4. Retention

We do not keep your data longer than necessary. Requests that do not lead to a collaboration are usually deleted within 24 months. Data within a collaboration is kept for as long as legal and accounting obligations require.

5. Processors and sharing

We never sell your data. We do rely on trusted providers who process data on our behalf, with the necessary safeguards:

  • Hosting and delivery of the website (our hosting partner).
  • Email processing for sending requests.
  • Web analytics via Google Tag Manager / Google Analytics, only after consent.

6. Transfers outside the EU

Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. In that case we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

7. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorized access.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict and port your data, and the right to object. Send your request to cedric@backboneperformance.eu. You may also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (www.dataprotectionauthority.be).
